Dinner With A View at Hyatt Regency Trinidad
Hyatt Trinidad features an ongoing Saturday Buffet Dinner series at their Waterfront Restaurant that serves up an array of cuisines from around the world. Last Saturday we were invited to experience the flavors of India with items off the buffet like Jeera Pulao, Spicy Daal Tadka, Kadhi Pakora, Aloo Gobhi, Mutter Masala, Chicken Korma and Mutton Do Pyaza.
Check out the Hyatt Regency Trinidad Facebook Page for more info.
The Saturday buffet dinner also includes soup, salads, a carving station, live station, decadent desserts and a complimentary cocktail or wine. The carving station featured a Tandoori Salmon and we were treated to Beef Ghee Roast at the live station. The beef is marinated in lime juice and spices then cooked in a gravy made of tomato, fennel seeds, coconut milk and a few other herbs and spices.
Of course great food and drinks need the right ambiance to compliment the experience and there’s no shortage of that at Hyatt. With live entertainment and a beautiful view on the waterfront as the sun sets, its the perfect setting for a lovely Saturday evening. Dinner costs $350 per person and comes with a complimentary glass of wine or a cocktail. After dinner, you are invited to play Jenga on the waterfront where you can win free cocktails from the bar.
