This is so easy to make and so versatile you may never buy pita chips again. The next time you’re having a lime or a family get together and thinking about serving some chip and dip, this is the perfect thing to try and it can be tweaked to your liking in countless ways.
Ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup olive oil
1/2 cup hot water
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp fine thyme
2 tbsp rosemary finely chopped
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp paprika
Method:
Combine dry ingredients
Add olive oil and mix until all the flour is coated with the oil.
Add water and mix until fully combined
Knead until it forms a smooth dough then let it rest for 5 minutes.
Divide dough into equal parts
Roll it out as thin as possible.
Place on a baking tray then cut into desired shapes
Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes
Allow chips to cool before placing them in a basket or container so that they maintain their crispiness
