Hey guys yes, another great recipe for your repertoire! This time it’s even simpler! Pineapple jam! I used canned pineapple just to show you how versatile jam really is. Any fruit whether it be fresh or even from a can. Feel free to experiment and use your favourite spices and fruits!
The great thing about homemade jams is that you can tweak basic recipes to make them unique. Whether you like a balance of salt and sweet or spicy and tart the possibilities are endless. You can apply this simple jam making technique to a wide variety of fruits.

Ingredients
- 2 Cans Cuisine Pineapple chunks/slices
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- 5 Cloves
- 5 Cardamom Pods
- ½ Lime juice
- 1 cup white sugar
Instructions
- Drain the liquid from the cans and set it aside. Note (Be sure to save the liquid as you may need it later on in the process.)
- Chop pineapple into smaller pieces. Note (The smaller the pieces the quicker it will be broken down.)
- Place pineapple into a pot that is on medium –low heat. Add sugar, spices and lime juice. Mix well and allow the jam to form for an hour. Note (Keep on a medium -low heat if the mixture starts to stick lower the flame and add a little of the left-over liquid.)
- Once mixture has reached an amber colour and has a concentrated sticky feel to it allow to cool and enjoy!
