Ever wanted to enjoy that warm, moist and delicious single serving of Flourless Chocolate Cake you get for dessert at your favorite restaurant at home? Well fear not, this recipe shows you how incredibly simple it is to recreate it at home with a few simple ingredients.
Makes one 8 inch cake, six 4 inch sized ramekins

Ingredients
- 8 ounces of chopped semi-sweet chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 ounces of melted butter
- ¾ cup of granulated sugar
- 3 eggs at room temperature
- ½ cup of cocoa powder sifted
- Icing sugar optional garnish
- Vanilla ice cream optional serving suggestion
Instructions
- Place chopped chocolate or chocolate chips in a large heatproof (glass or metal) bowl, set over a saucepan of simmering water. Gently melt, stirring to dissolve the solid pieces.
- Once all chocolate has melted, remove bowl from heat and stir in melted butter.
- Whisk in sugar and eggs.
- Stir in sifted cocoa powder.
- Transfer batter into well-greased ramekins or cake pan lined with foil and sprayed with non-stick spray.
- Place in oven at 375F for 25 minutes.
- Garnish with icing sugar and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
