Ingredients
- 2 Cans Cuisine Pineapple (chunks/slices)
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- 5 Cloves
- 5 Cardamom Pods
- ½ Lime juice
- 1C white sugar
Method
- Drain the liquid from the cans and set it aside. Note (Be sure to save the liquid as you may need it later on in the process.)
- Chop pineapple into smaller pieces. Note (The smaller the pieces the quicker it will be broken down.)
- Place pineapple into a pot that is on medium –low heat. Add sugar, spices and lime juice. Mix well and allow the jam to form for an hour. Note (Keep on a medium -low heat if the mixture starts to stick lower the flame and add a little of the left-over liquid.)
- Once mixture has reached an amber colour and has a concentrated sticky feel to it allow to cool and enjoy!
