This is so easy to make and so versatile you may never buy pita chips again. The next time you’re having a lime or a family get together and thinking about serving some chip and dip, this is the perfect thing to try and it can be tweaked to your liking in countless ways.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fine thyme
- 2 tbsp rosemary finely chopped
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
Method:
- Combine dry ingredients
- Add olive oil and mix until all the flour is coated with the oil.
- Add water and mix until fully combined
- Knead until it forms a smooth dough then let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Divide dough into equal parts
- Roll it out as thin as possible.
- Place on a baking tray then cut into desired shapes
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes
- Allow chips to cool before placing them in a basket or container so that they maintain their crispiness
