Citrus Glazed Salmon

Citrus Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 6oz Salmon filets
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 sprigs fine thyme
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 4-5 dashes Angostura Orange Bitters
  • salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. Thaw salmon to room temperature then pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Combine lemon pepper, chili powder, salt and oil in a bowl.
  3. Apply wet rub to salmon filets.
  4. Heat up a frying pan on medium heat.
  5. Add salmon filets then cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove salmon filets from frying pan and set aside.
  7. Add garlic, butter and thyme to frying pan then sauté for 1 minute.
  8. Add orange juice and Angostura Orange Bitters to pan then cook for 3 to 5 minutes until mixtures starts to reduce.
  9. Add salmon filets to pan then cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  10. Serve & Enjoy!
