Ingredients

Lotus Cassava & Wheat Flour
1 1/3
cups
warm water

tsp
yeast
1
tsp
salt

tbsp
vegetable shortening
at room temperature
Instructions
Add water, yeast and salt in a bowl then combine with a whisk.
Add Lotus Cassava & Wheat Flour then mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
Transfer dough to your work surface then knead for 2 to 3 minutes.
Flatten dough then spread vegetable shortening onto dough. Combine until fully incorporated.
Knead dough for an additional five minutes until smooth.
Place in a bowl then cover and allow to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubles in size.
Remove dough from bowl and shape into a loaf.
Place on a baking tray with parchment paper then cover and allow to rise for an additional 25 minutes or until doubled in size.
Add a tray with boiling water to the bottom of your preheated oven at 350 degrees.
Place baking tray into oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes.
Place baked loaf onto a cooling rack and allow to cool for at least 15 minutes.
